BaridiMob in 2026: sign up, send money CCP to CCP, pay bills and fix common errors
The complete guide to Algérie Poste’s BaridiMob app: how to register with your Edahabia card, transfer to another CCP with the RIP, fees and daily limits, cardless withdrawal, card requests, and what to do when a code never arrives or a transfer goes missing.
BaridiMob is Algérie Poste’s mobile banking app for CCP account holders. With an Edahabia card and the phone number linked to your account, it lets you check your balance, send money instantly to another CCP account, top up any mobile line, pay Sonelgaz and Algérie Télécom bills, withdraw cash at a post office ATM without your card, and handle card requests such as a new PIN. Most of what used to need a queue at the post office now takes a minute on the phone.

What you need before you start
- A CCP account at Algérie Poste.
- An Edahabia card for that account. Algérie Poste treats it as indispensable for full use of BaridiMob, including transfers.
- The phone number registered with your CCP account, on a phone that receives SMS. The activation and confirmation codes go only to that number.
- A smartphone with the official app, downloaded from Google Play or the App Store (publisher: Algérie Poste).
Signing up, step by step
- Install BaridiMob from the official store and open it. Choose to create an account (inscription).
- Enter the phone number linked to your CCP, the 16-digit number on the front of your Edahabia card and its expiry date.
- Type the code you receive by SMS. It is valid for a very short time, so keep the app open and enter it at once; ask for a new code if it expires.
- Accept the terms and choose your BaridiMob password, typed twice. It is separate from the card PIN: never use the same code for both.
- Log in. Your account, balance and card appear on the home screen.
Sending money to another CCP
Transfers between CCP accounts are instant and run around the clock. Have the recipient’s RIP and name ready.
- Open the transfer (virement) menu and choose a transfer to a CCP account.
- Enter the recipient’s RIP (20 digits) or pick a saved beneficiary. Check the name that appears before you go further.
- Enter the amount and an optional note, then confirm with the code received by SMS.
- Keep the receipt in the app. The recipient sees the money in their balance almost at once.
- Algérie Poste says the recipient should also hold an Edahabia card. If a transfer is refused, check this first.
Finding your RIP (and the recipient’s)
The RIP (relevé d’identité postal) is the 20-digit number that identifies a CCP account for transfers. A CCP RIP always starts with 00799999, followed by the CCP number written on 10 digits and a 2-digit key. Yours is shown in BaridiMob under your account details, and you can also print it at a post office ATM or ask for it at the counter. Never guess the key: a wrong key sends the transfer to a refusal, or in the worst case to the wrong account.
Fees and daily limits in 2026
These are the figures reported in October 2026 from Algérie Poste’s tariff conditions. They change from time to time; the app shows the fee before you confirm.
Subscription
50 DA to join, then 50 DA a month, taken from the CCP account.
Transfer fees
12 DA up to 10,000 DA; 15 DA up to 20,000; 18 DA up to 30,000; 21 DA up to 40,000; 24 DA above.
Daily transfer limit
Up to 200,000 DA a day in BaridiMob. The cap was raised from 50,000 DA in 2023.
Other limits
ATM withdrawal up to 50,000 DA a day, card payments at shops up to 200,000 DA, BaridiPay QR payments up to 500,000 DA.
Paying bills and topping up a phone
- Open Payment, then choose the biller: Mobilis, Djezzy or Ooredoo for a top-up, Algérie Télécom for Idoom internet or the landline bill, Sonelgaz for electricity and gas.
- Enter the phone number, line number or bill reference and the amount, then confirm with the SMS code.
- The money comes straight from your CCP balance; there is no need to type card details.
- If a biller is missing, update the app: new services appear only in the latest version.
Taking cash without your card
Forgot the card at home, or want to let a family member withdraw for you? BaridiMob’s cardless withdrawal does it.
- In BaridiMob, tap the cardless transaction button (Transaction sans carte), then New transaction.
- Choose your CCP account, the cardless ATM withdrawal type, an amount of up to 20,000 DA and an expiry date less than six months away.
- Generate and validate. An SMS gives you a transaction number and a PIN.
- At an Algérie Poste ATM, choose cardless withdrawal, enter the transaction number and the PIN, and take the cash.
- Treat the SMS like cash: whoever has both numbers can withdraw the money.
Card requests from the app
- New or replacement card: request it in the Requests (Demandes) menu. Creation, renewal and replacement cost 350 DA.
- Change of address: Requests › Change of address lets you pick another post office or address to receive the card.
- Forgotten PIN: Requests › Reprint PIN code. The reprint costs 200 DA.
- Lost or stolen card: suspend it at once in the app, or at the nearest post office, then order a replacement. The new card comes with a new PIN.
Common errors and fixes
- “Incorrect information” at sign-up: the phone number you typed is not the one registered with your CCP, or the card number is mistyped (all 16 digits). Update the number at a post office if needed.
- The SMS code never arrives: the code goes only to the number linked to the account. Check it at the post office, free up SMS storage, and make sure the line has signal.
- The code expired: it lasts a very short time. Ask for a new one and type it immediately.
- Transfer done but not received: check the RIP on the receipt, then file a claim in the app or at the post office with the receipt. Algérie Poste usually answers within a day or two.
- Balance not updated: log out, close the app and log in again; balances can lag a few minutes at busy times such as pension days.
- Account blocked after wrong passwords: use the forgotten password option in the app, or go to a post office with your ID.
- Algérie Poste’s call centre for BaridiMob is 1530.
Using BaridiMob from abroad
The app works over the internet from any country, but every sign-up and confirmation code goes by SMS to the Algerian number linked to your CCP. If you live abroad, keep that line active and able to receive SMS while roaming, or update the number at a post office before you leave. BaridiMob does not receive money from foreign accounts: to fund a CCP from abroad, use a regulated transfer service that pays into Algerian accounts.
Staying safe
Important
- Install BaridiMob only from the official store listing. Copies shared as APK files on social media can steal your codes.
- Algérie Poste never asks for your password, PIN or SMS code by phone, WhatsApp or Messenger.
- Do not share your screen or install “remote help” apps at a stranger’s request.
- Before each transfer, check the recipient name shown by the app. A transfer to the wrong RIP is very hard to recover.
- Turn on the lock screen on your phone: anyone holding an unlocked phone with BaridiMob open can move money.
