Paying your Sonelgaz bill online in 2026: Edahabia, CIB and BaridiMob
Where to pay, which numbers from the bill you need, why the amount gets rejected, and how to avoid a power cut.
Household electricity and gas bills from Sonelgaz arrive every quarter. You can pay them online with an Edahabia or CIB card on the official e-payment portal, from your CCP account in BaridiMob, or in person. Online payment avoids the stamp duty charged on cash payments, and the receipt arrives as a PDF straight away.

Paying on the Sonelgaz e-payment portal
The portal is run by ELIT, the Sonelgaz IT subsidiary, at epayement.elit.dz.
- Have your bill in front of you: you need the bill reference and its key, both printed on the bill.
- Enter the reference, the key and the amount due, then choose Edahabia or CIB.
- Enter your card details and confirm with the code sent by SMS.
- Save the PDF receipt. Payments can take 24 to 72 hours to show on your Sonelgaz account.
02 Everyday payments
Paying with BaridiMob
In the Algérie Poste BaridiMob app, open the bill payments section, choose Sonelgaz, then scan the barcode on the bill or type its reference. The amount is debited from your CCP account after you confirm with the SMS code. Edahabia holders can also pay from the BaridiNet web service.

Why an online payment is rejected
- You added the 25 DA stamp duty. It applies only to cash payments, so pay the amount without it.
- The reference or the key has a typo.
- Internet payment or 3-D Secure is not enabled on your card.
- You typed a comma instead of a point for the decimals.

Deadlines and power cuts
Each bill has a payment deadline that differs from its issue date. Once it has passed, Sonelgaz can cut electricity and gas, and reconnection costs are charged to you. If money is tight, go to your agency before the deadline to ask about paying in instalments.
