National Payments Committee
Overview
The National Payments Committee is a coordination body chaired by the Bank of Algeria governor. It gathers several ministries, the central bank, Algérie Poste, security services, the banking association, GIE Monétique, SATIM and two experts. Its main job is to prepare the national strategy for developing non-cash payments.
