Overview

Algérie Poste is the state postal operator and the country's largest provider of everyday accounts through the postal current account (CCP). It issues the Edahabia debit card, which makes up most of the cards in circulation, and runs the BaridiMob app, which added QR-code payments under the Barid Pay name in late 2025. Its network of more than 4,000 post offices also serves as the main cash and pension channel in rural areas.
