Popular Credit of Algeria
Overview
CPA is a state-controlled commercial bank created in 1966 and Algeria's third-largest bank by total assets at end-2025. In March 2024 it became the first Algerian bank listed on the Algiers Stock Exchange (ticker CPA), after selling shares to tens of thousands of retail investors. It sponsors the Visa side of local international-card personalisation with SATIM.
