National Bank of Algeria
Overview
BNA is Algeria's oldest state-owned commercial bank, set up in 1966, and the country's largest bank by total assets at end-2025. It serves individuals, professionals and large companies through about 227 branches overseen by 21 regional directorates. It offers Islamic banking products in dedicated branches and windows, and co-owns the Algerian subsidiaries in Senegal and Mauritania.
