Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development
Overview
BADR is a state-owned bank created in 1982 out of BNA to finance agriculture, fisheries and the rural economy. It runs the widest branch network among Algerian banks, with more than 340 branches and 39 regional directorates. It has offered Islamic finance products in its branches since 2023 and is a shareholder of the Algerian bank in Senegal.
