Visas by country
Where Algerians can travel without a visa in 2026, plus Turkey and the Gulf
The Algerian passport opens few doors without a visa, but the list is useful: neighbours, Malaysia, several African countries, e-visas for Qatar, Georgia and Thailand, and since June 2026 Turkey for travellers under 15 and over 50.
Rules for ordinary Algerian passports differ from one country to the next and change with diplomatic agreements. This page groups the most asked-about destinations into four kinds of entry: no visa, visa on arrival, online e-visa, and visa needed in advance. Before you book, confirm on the destination’s official site or embassy, and check the passport validity it asks for (often six months).

- Travel insurance, even when not required.
