Paysera
Paysera Algeria 2026: can you still open it? Fees and alternatives
The Lithuanian e-money account Algerian freelancers once relied on, now for EU residents
Paysera is an electronic money institution licensed in Lithuania. For years it was the go-to account for Algerian freelancers because it opened without proof of European residence and came with a Mastercard. Since January 2023, new card applicants must prove they live in Europe. It remains a useful, low-cost account for Algerians who live in the EU.
If you live in Algeria
