- Verify your identity with a passport or residence permit and a selfie video.
- Top up and order the physical card if you want one.

Getting the money into dinars
Revolut does not send DZD to Algerian accounts in the app the way Wise does, and paying by card in Algeria converts at Revolut’s rate, close to the official one. Many families still prefer cash brought on the trip; check the customs declaration rules before travelling with currency.

Can I open Revolut with an Algerian passport?
Yes, if you live in a country Revolut serves and can prove it, for example with a residence permit. The passport alone is not enough if your address is in Algeria.
Does the Revolut card work in Algeria?
It works where Visa or Mastercard are accepted, mainly in hotels, some shops and bank ATMs that take international cards. Free withdrawal allowances apply, then fees.
